Łowickie wedding 2009

Summary

In the second half of August,  the third edition of the European Festival of Folk happened. Groups form Italy, Holland, Germany, Spain, Belarus and Poland took part in. The main objective of this project is to spread culture, traditions and folklore from all regions of Europe.

The culmination of this event was the wedding in Łowicki style with an authentic bride and groom (Paulina Jarmuszewicz, Luke Kryg). Wedding ceremony was prepared by Poligrodzianie Group, Song and Dance Ensemble "Boczki Chełmonskie" and Danzdeel Salzkotten. The festival teams toured among others in Poznan and Gniezno.
