Kurpiowskie wedding 2010

 

European Festival of Traditional Arts place where different regions of united Europe will present their cultural heritage artistic achievements and products, which make them recognizable to the rich diversity of the modern world. The idea behind the festival is to promote the regions - from the popularization of regional handicrafts and traditional to contemporary forms and areas of work.

The festival held on 18 - August 25, 2010. Organized teams of:

 

There were preformaces at:

  • August 19 7:00 - 8:00 pm - Old Market Square Poznan
  • August 20 7:00 pm - The Market in Gniezno
  • August 21 5:00 pm - Wolsztyn

 

The climax of each of the performances was the reconstruction of Greek weddings performed by Attica Folklore & Cultural Association 'POLYDENDRI'

  • August 22 11:30 am - 10:00 pm - National Museum of Agriculture and Food Industry in Szreniawa performances linked to the seventh edition of the Regional Wedding "Wedding Kurpie 2010"
  • August 23 9:00 am - Poznań rector's office - conference with chancellor of Poznań University of Technology and gifts exchange
