ALGIERIA

Soleil D’or D’algérie

The association soleil d'or d'algerie was founded in 1995. The group soleil d'or d'algerie is made up of members aged between 19 and 50, specialised in kabyle dance, coming from all regions of the great cabylie. This mix has made their work illustrate and represent Algerian culture and the artistic and cultural heritage of the province of Sidi Bel Abbes, but this does not prevent them from touching on other Algerian folk dances such as Algerian dance, Tindi, Chaoui, Allaoui, Neharie and many others to bring the cultural richness of Algeria closer.

The choreographies performed by the dancers are accompanied by songs and gestures that represent the past, the history, the philosophical culture inspired by their ancestors.

Since 1995, the ballet has not stopped representing its culture throughout Algeria, as well as in many countries such as Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, China, Denmark…
