The Créa’Danse Company - France

Created in 1999 under Claire Gattet’s artistic leadership, Créa’Danse is now made up of six teenagers and adults who chose contemporary dancing as means of artistic expression. Inspired by silence or by music from various origins, dancers experiment, improvise, conceive and create together choreographies based on contemporary themes. The dance company is building up experience by performing in unusual settings such as Frankfurt’s airport, Moscow’s Red Square, the deck of a boat, the front of a church, a field, a cave, exhibition halls, public settings, theatres’ scene… 

Folklore-Ensemble "Lenok" - Russia

The folklore ensemble "LENOK" was created in 1976. Ensemble explores Southern Russian singing traditions, customs, games tunes and ethnographic dances of Southern Russia. The folklore ensemble "LENOK" consists of 28 persons (the vocal group, the instrumental group and the leaders of the ensemble). The leaders and founders of the collective are a family of Tamara and Vasily Bychkovs. A lot of attention in the work of the ensemble is given to collection and preservation of Russian historic dances. Members of the ensemble play the ancient folk musical instruments such as an accordion, a psaltery, a violin, horns, zhaleykas, pipes, balalaikas and national percussions. Accompanied by songs and dances concert performances of the ensemble are always bright emotional shows. The costumes of the ensemble are traditional; they are made by members of the ensemble and decorated with embroidery, weaving and bead jewelry. The ensemble «LENOK» participates in festivals and contests of ethnographic folk music in the Czech Republic, Germany, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Italy, Belgium, Finland, Poland. The folk ensemble "LENOK" is a member of EFCO (European Folk Culture Organization).

"Bogar Istvan" - Öcsteny - Hungary

Mezocsat Nepiegyuttes Group has this year its 60th anniversary. It was formed at the turn of 1948-1950. It consisted of a large number of dancers and was the pride of the village. Now Mezocsat Nepiegyuttes Group consists of young people who study and work. Part of the group studied dance at the Egressy Benjamin Elementary School. On the 60th anniversary the group collects informations and photographs from its founders and also other materials to allow spreading the culture and showing authentic Hungarian Dance. They are constantly working on new choreographies and overall aesthetic appearance of the group. They represent their folklore In many places in the world.

Zespół Pieśni i Tańca "KORTOWO" - Poland

Song and Dance Ensemble "Kortowo" is a representative group of folklore at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The group draws its inspiration from the folk tradition. Through dance and music faithfully reproduces the Polish dances, songs and ceremonies. Dancers present a program in original, colorful costumes, arousing the interest and fascination of the audience. The achievements of the ensemble are the work of prominent authorities in the field of music and dance, who helped to create original and unique artistic face of the group. "KORTOWO" has won numerous folklore festivals in the country and abroad. For its artistic activity has repeatedly been honored and rewarded.

Gruppo Folk "Giuseppe Moffa" - Italy

The “G. Moffa” Folk Dance Group has performed dances and music of its own traditions for more than thirty years, setting value on the research held in order to discover and transmit this singing and choreographic heritage. The “G. Moffa” Group was born in the middle of the XIX century but it was dissolved during the war periods. It was founded again in 1972, deriving its name from an illustrious citizen from Riccia, the lawyer Giuseppe Moffa, who lived between the XIX and XX century. The latter, fond of music and popular traditions, left to us a wide singing heritage. The typical costume of the folk maid is characterized by a long curled skirt, an apron decorated on the borders, a corset tied on its back, a white blouse with large sleeves, up to the elbow, and a coloured scarf. The stockings, with horizontal coloured and black stripes, are a singular element of this costume because they are not to be found in any other place of South Italy.

Zespół Folklorystyczny Mali Poligrodzianie - Poland

Folk Group "Mali Poligrodzianie" arose from the Folk Dance PUT "Poligrodzianie" in 1985. Has about 50 young dancers aged 6-14 years. Developing sensitivity to art, rising in the spirit of the folk tradition and respect for Polish culture are essential issues for our Team. During the preparation of the dances and songs most authentic sources, as similar as possible to the "roots" of Polish folklore are used. Bringing out the character, conduct and performance appropriate for the presented region, retaining the typical Instrumental composition. The pretext for the transfer of songs and dances is often a concrete example, as popular in the ‘Żywiec’ region - carol singing. Mali Poligrodzianie are successfully involved in many prestigious international festivals. For example in Belgium, Denmark, Canada, Greece, Spain, France, Portugal, South Korea and Italy.
