Ensemble “Gramnitsy” – Belarus

Student’s Ensemble “Gramnitsy” was founded in 1994 by the Faculty of Folk Arts at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. They consists of instrumental part (violins, flute and pipe, accordion, Belarusian cimbalom, guitars) and singers-dances artists. “Gramnitsy” play, sing and dance Belarusian traditional music both in authentic forms and in modern arrangements. Distinctive feature of “Gramnitsy's” style is traditional manner of the Belarusian national singing, dancing and instrumental music. “Gramnitsy” performed in Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Russia, Great Britain.

Ensemble “Zharava” – Bulgaria

Representative child/youth folk ensemble “Zharava” was established in October 1999. During 10 years of existence it had a rich experience and routine. It’s repertoire includes folk songs and folk dances from all regions of Bulgaria. Ensemble “Zharava” is laureate of many national and international festivals. The choir have won five First prizes and eight Grand prix. The ensemble had tours in France, Greece, Turkey and Russia and have participated in many TV shows.

The children folklore group “Javornicek” – Czech Republic

The children folklore group “Javornicek” from the city of Brno was founded in 1958. The group specializes in folklore from mainly the Walachia region but also from Brno and Horácko. The club holds four different dance groups divided by the age of the children and raging from as young as 4 years all the way to 18 years old children. “Javornicek” is one of the biggest folklore groups in the Czech Republic that represented the country on hundreds of concerts and festivals around the whole world.

Şişli Municipality Tuana Folk and Art Club – Turkey

Tuana Art Club has been established in 2002 at the capital of Turkey, Ankara, and consists from approximately 80 dancers. The group, which aims to serve for Turkish culture and Turkish Folk Dances, has pursued many successes since its inception. Club performs folk dances both in authentic and stylized branches. The dancers study folk dances, modern dance, dance techniques and rhythm courses in the Club. Tuana performs Turkish folk dances from all over the regions of our country.

Dance Department of The Irish National Folk Company – Ireland

The Company was founded in 1971. It is a non profit-making Government approved Arts and Cultural Organization which aim lay on promoting Irish Culture at home and abroad. Since its foundation the company has made over 250 international tours abroad, promoting and in 28 countries, this involved the training of over 5000 dancers from all over Ireland and abroad.

 

 

 

Folk group „Rossichy” – Russia

Folk group „Rossichy” was founded in 1985 in Kaliningrad. Group’s concerts are distinguished because of their unique manner of performance, understanding of folk music and songs. Theatrical concert programs make audience familiar with Russian rites, traditions and celebrities. Folk group “Rossichy” is a laureate of national and international festivals. In 2000 the Group has been awarded prestigious local prize “Priznanie” in music.

Duet LIARMAN – Spain

Duet Liarman - Susana Raso (vocal) i Lukasz Gaszler (guitar) – debuted on VII Cultural Night in Częstochowa (April 26th, 2010). From that point the duet travels and plays in Polish castles, festivals, museums, exhibitions and other events. They have old Spanish and Galician songs, songs from Tuna’s repertoire – student bands which were common in Spain and Portugal in XVI century – and original folk-rock songs. They sing in Spanish, Galician, Polish and English languages.

Folk group „Turki” – Latvia

Folk group “Turki” has been founded in 1979 and consists 27 participants today. The group unite people of different generations. The youngest has only 4 years old and the oldest one has celebrated her 78th birthday . The group performs everywhere in Latvia and several times took part in The International Folk Festival “Baltica”. “Turki” presents Latvian folklore abroad – in Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Poland and England.

 

 

 

Brass band from Noyal-Muzillac – France

Brass band from Noyal-Muzillac is one of the most represented cultural organizations of the region. Dawn of the group refers to the World War II while they were performing at local events and celebrations. But official year of the founding is 1948 when the first article about the orchestra appeared in The Official Journal. From the very beginning the group attracts youngsters who not just develop their musician skills but stimulate a sense of beauty. Thanks to its directors as François CHESNIN or Karim BENAMARA the orchestra has such long and successful history. Today Gabriela DE CARVALHO is the chairman and she continue to work hard for the benefit of the group.
