Group "Le Tre Torri”

Italy

The activities of the band "Le Tre Torri" begins in 1973 when some enthusiasts of history, folklore and ancient symbolism decided to create an organized group which had an avulsion from the typical standard of what was carrying so far by the folklore ensembles around the world.

The idea for "Le Tre Torii" is based on medieval legends and traditions, where communication via specific flags and pennants was an indispensable element, allowing to conduct defensive operations against the invaders.

During these performances the flags are presented in various colors, with embroidered crests, which refer to the historical region of where they come from - The Principality of Traetto. Stunts and demonstrations that simulate warfare are sprinkled with live music (percussion, drums and trumpet) resulting in a unique and unforgettable staging.
